Not at all! I'd think that's more how <I>I</I> come off the majority of the time, lol.<BR/>I wouldn't expect most people to know all the backstory and inner workings of those old shows. Heck, I'm sure about half the staff wouldn't remember...but since I knew those particular obscure facts just wanted to put 'em out there. One never knows where all this commenting and whatnor will go on the internets. : )<BR/><BR/>Anyway, I can't recall how I came across your blog but it's always good to see people who share appreciation for such as Jack Cole. That book is too rare, and the artist too under-discussed-though I've never met anyone who didn't like him. Great stuff.<BR/>Anyway, whatever you do don't worry about so-called pretention--just <B>do</B> as you're doing, that's the only thing that matters-- drawing girls, cats--even John's lessons. All good. The zoo is a gold mine-can't be overused, but then again coffee shops and bus stops are genius places too.
